Kananaskis Mountain Lodge

Overview

If you’re searching for a relaxing respite during your journey through the Canadian Rockies, we think Kananaskis Mountain Lodge is the perfect place. Just west of Calgary, Kananaskis County is a serene and naturally stunning area, and this rustic lodge offers incredible views of the county’s mountainous backdrop.

This lodge is fabulous all year round. In the winter months you can explore the beautiful Nakiska Ski Area, whilst summer boasts long afternoons practicing your swing at the Kananaskis Golf Course and leisurely hikes along Barrier Lake.

The Mountain Lodge adopts the classic cabin-style that we all love, with many rooms and suites boasting a fireplace that feels extra cosy alongside the snow-capped mountain vistas. Contemporary hues and luxurious furnishing give the décor a modern edge.

Good food is a vital part of relaxation, and you’ll find plenty of it at the lodge’s elegant restaurants and bars. Enjoy sensational wood-fired pizzas and fresh homemade pastas at Forte Restaurant, or relish a romantic dinner at Cedar Room. Blacktail Bar is one of our favourite venues – who could resist a decadent cocktail alongside delicious small plates? In the summer, be sure to check out Woody’s intimate rooftop patio.
