Fly to Calgary – transfer to Banff
Fly to Calgary and make your way independently to the charming mountain town of Banff. In the evening, you’ll meet with your Tour Director for a welcome dinner.

Day 2
Banff National Park
A relaxed start for your first morning in the heart of the Canadian Rockies. Today you have a variety of optional excursions to choose from so chat to your Tour Director and make your choice. You might be tempted by an optional helicopter flight that soars high above the Rockies or take a horse ride along the tranquil Bow River and pass the Cave and Basin National Historic Site, the birthplace of Canada’s national parks. Alternatively, play nine holes of golf at the stunning and challenging Banff Springs Golf Course. Another option is to unwind at the Willow Stream Spa, a serene alpine sanctuary for rejuvenation and pampering

Day 3
Banff – Lake Louise
Begin your day with a visit to scenic Moraine Lake in the Valley of the Ten Peaks. The azure-coloured lake is tucked away under ten towering peaks, each more than 9,800 feet high, and the Wenkchemna Glacier. Continue on to your stunning hotel on Lake Louise, the jewel of Banff National Park. Marvel at the breath-taking views of the glistening emerald lake and Victoria Glacier. In the afternoon you can choose to take the sightseeing gondola above the town of Lake Louise, spotting local wildlife and enjoying a gentle hike that takes in the breath-taking views. Alternatively, join your Tour Director for a lakeside stroll and get creative as you put your paint brush to canvas and compose your own artistic masterpiece. Later, relax in your lakeview room or join an Afternoon Tea service in your hotel’s Living Room. For dinner this evening, you have a choice of several restaurants at the resort.

Day 4
Lake Louise – Icefields Parkway - Jasper
Today you will travel along the unforgettable Icefields Parkway passing through the rugged Rockies landscape. Board a specially designed Ice Explorer for a remarkable excursion onto the surface of the Athabasca Glacier, a part of the Columbia Icefield. Follow your expert driver guide as you step out onto the frosty ?ow.
Later, arrive to Jasper and your luxurious mountain resort on Lake Beauvert. Join the First Nations Warrior Women, who reside in the Sturgeon Lake Cree Nation, for an intimate evening. Engage in conversation about indigenous culture, storytelling and drumming. Learn songs, beautiful phrases in Cree and gain a deeper understanding of the First Nations’ spirituality. Tonight, enjoy a BBQ dinner on the shores of Trefoil Lake with spectacular views of Pyramid Mountain.

Day 5
Jasper National Park
Start your day with a narrated cruise on the serene waters of iconic Maligne Lake and see Spirit Island (seasonal). Continue to Maligne Canyon, the deepest canyon in Jasper National Park with a depth of more than 160 feet in certain parts. Follow your Travelling Concierge for a gentle hike through this incredible natural landmark.

Day 6
Jasper to Kamloops
Board the Rocky Mountaineer to start your unforgettable luxury train journey, in GoldLeaf Service. Take in the spectacular views from the glass-domed coach or the outdoor viewing platform and indulge in gourmet meals on board. Hear engaging stories from the onboard team and spot wildlife as you travel through the dramatic landscape. Follow the banks of the North Thompson River through the Monashee and Cariboo Mountains, climbing ever nearer to the high peaks of the Continental Divide. Today’s highlights include Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies, Pyramid Falls, and the climb over the Yellowhead Pass. Spend the night in Kamloops.

Day 7
Kamloops to Vancouver
Return to your luxurious train and continue your journey toward Vancouver. Marvel at the dramatic changes in scenery from the desert-like interior, through the winding river canyons and pristine forests of the Coast and Cascade Mountains, and past the lush green fields of the Fraser Valley. Highlights include the steep slopes and rock sheds along the Thompson River and the rushing waters of Hell’s Gate in the Fraser Canyon.

Day 8
Vancouver
After a Relaxed Start join your Traveling Concierge for a sightseeing tour of Vancouver. Travel through Downtown to Stanley Park and see the totem poles at Brockton Point. Continue to Salmon n’ Bannock, the only restaurant in the city owned and operated by members of Canada’s First Nations. Savour a delicious and modern Celebration Lunch prepared with traditional ingredients and authentic flavours.

Day 9
Fly home
After breakfast you are transferred to Vancouver International Airport as your awe-inspiring Canada luxury tour comes to an end.
