Waterton Lakes National Park
The stunning Waterton is set in the smallest national park based in southern Alberta. Nestled between the towering Canadian Rocky Mountains with its magnificent glistening lake, this charming spot really does take your breath away. Home of buffalos and elks, there’s an abundance of wildlife and activities to see and do as you explore this hidden gem. Exploring Waterton Lakes National Park
Visit Waterton in the summer when the wildflowers bloom, and take on its hiking trails from gentle climbs to Cameron Falls or a steep but rewarding climb up Bertha Lake Trail. With a golf course, spa, and water sports available there’s plenty to do and see in this gorgeous tucked away village.
When to go to Waterton
Waterton is beautiful all year round but particularly in May through to September when the temperature highs range from 18 °C – 24 °C. During the winter months temperatures can reach around -10 °C.
