A hiker's paradise

Kamloops, British Columbia sits on the convergence of the two rivers and Kamloops Lake, on the edge of the protected Lac Du Bois Grasslands. It is a very popular destination all year round and has become very popular with hikers and pony-trekkers.

Kamloops, BC is full of attractions for families and couples alike and makes for an excellent stop-off point on any Canadian tour. Its rugged landscape is ideal for pony trekking, hiking and mountain biking and there are well-marked trails covering the local area. Kamloops also has a very popular local farmers’ market and the town is becoming an increasingly popular golfing destination with more than a dozen courses and includes the award-winning Tobiano course.
