Day 1 - 4

Arrive in Vancouver.

When you arrive, you have the choice to either pick up your car today from the airport and drive to your hotel or you can catch a taxi and pick up your car rental downtown on Day 5. Vancouver is an easy city to explore on foot or by public transport, or perhaps book a Segway or a cycling tour. You have four days to enjoy this beautiful relaxed city and there is plenty for you to see and enjoy. Day 5 & 6

Sonora Resort, Sonora Island

This morning drive to Horseshoe bay to catch the ferry to Nanaimo, you will then drive to Campbell River and catch a water taxi to Sonora at 3pm.  Total journey time to Sonora is around 6 hours, and it is a beautiful drive along Vancouver Island.  Your 2 night stay at Sonora Resort in a Deluxe Ocean View Gold room includes:

• All gourmet meals including breakfast, lunch, dinner and appetizers
• All beverages (liquor, wine, beer, juice and water)
• Use of all amenities at the resort: Outdoor heated pool, hot tubs, steam rooms, tennis court & games room
• Access to 2 stocked rainbow fly-fishing ponds with all equipment
• Complimentary use of mountain bikes
• Complimentary Wifi

In addition to the above inclusions customers have the option to pre-book a number of extra excursions:

• Salmon Fishing from a 7.5 metre boat – A perfect introduction to pacific salmon fishing, includes all equipment and bait.  Tour lasts for 4 hours at an approximate cost of £175 per person
• Bear Watching by Zodiac – Guests embark on a tour to view elusive grizzly in their natural habitat, catching salmon and playing with their cubs by the river mouths and shoreline.  Guests can also view bears from one of the three uniquely designed 3-metre high viewing stands. Tour lasts for 5 hours at an approximate cost of £279 per person.
• Zodiac Nature Tour – An introductory tour to the surrounding waters in a 12 seat, 9-metre eco tour Zodiac boat providing unique views of local wildlife.  Tour is 1 hour long at an approximate cost of £50 per person

Day 7-9

Victoria

This morning enjoy a few more hours at the resort, then at around 1pm travel by water taxi back to Campbell River.  Your drive from Campbell River to Victoria is approximately 3 hours. When you arrive in the Garden City of British Columbia, check into the impressive Fairmont Empress on the harbour front. Enjoy the next couple of days exploring Victoria and it's surroundings. Day 10

Travel back to Vancouver.

Today catch the Ferry back to Vancouver.

Today make your way to the airport for your flight home.
