Arrive in Halifax and transfer independently to Sutton Hotel Halifax for a two -night stay.

Day 2
Halifax
Enjoy a leisurely morning exploring Halifax. Perhaps stroll the Waterfront Boardwalk or talk the short climb to the top of Citadel Hill. In the early afternoon join the Halifax Harbourfront Food Walking Tour, to sample some of the region’s most beloved local specialties - oysters, seafood chowder, donair and lobster roll.

Halifax—Peggy’s Cove—Lunenburg (60 miles)
Pick up your hire car for a short drive to Peggy’s Cove. Witness dramatic waves crash over the rocks and visit Nova Scotia’s most iconic lighthouse. Then head to Tom’s Lobster Shack for some quintessential Nova Scotia fare—delicious lobster rolls. After lunch, get back on the road for a scenic drive along the South Shore to the seafaring town of Lunenburg, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Take in the town’s colourful and historic waterfront and more on the Lunenburg Hidden Gems Tour and discover beautifully crafted spirits on a tasting at Ironworks Distillery before tucking in for the night at Bluenose Lodge Inn.

Lunenburg—Hunts Point (50 miles)
Your adventure continues with a scenic drive to White Point Beach Resort, where you can unwind by the ocean and take a leisurely walk along the sandy shores. As the sun sets, indulge in a scenic dinner at Elliot’s Dining Room, overlooking the rolling waves of the Atlantic.

Hunts Point—Wolfville (85 miles)
Drive along the highway for two hours and you’ll find yourself in Nova Scotia’s stunning wine region. Discover expertly crafted wines and Nova Scotia’s signature Tidal Bay wine on a Grand-Pré Winery Tour. After a day of tastings, enjoy a gourmet dinner at Le Caveau or take in the tides from your oceanfront table at Hall’s Harbour Lobster Pound and Restaurant that overlooks the Bay of Fundy.

Northumberland Coast—Baddeck (160 miles)
Today, you’re heading to the easterly tip of Nova Scotia and the beautiful wilds of Cape Breton Island. Pop into Big Spruce Brewing for a refreshing flight of local beers then watch the sunset on a Bras D’Or Lake Cruise or kayak ride before heading to your stay at Inverary Resort.

Day 9
Baddeck
This day is dedicated to exploring the world-famous Cabot Trail, a 298km showstopping adventure unto itself. En route, stop into Ingonish Beach and take in unfettered natural beauty on a Cape Smokey gondola ride. Before heading back to Baddeck, take a slight detour on your return for a whiskey tour and tasting at Glenora Distillery. Overnight: Inverary Resort, Baddeck
Day 10
Drive to Halifax airport (199 miles)
It’s time to take the drive back to Halifax airport and catch your flight home, or fly on to explore another part of Canada.
