Day 1
Fly to Toronto
Arrive into Pearson International Airport and transfer independently to your downtown hotel. Be sure to pick up your Canada Roadbook from the front desk when you check in then use the remainder of the day to explore at leisure and make the most of this exciting city, perhaps by shopping at the Eaton Centre or by sampling the cuisine in one of the many amazing restaurants.
Day 2
Toronto
Enjoy the whole day in and around Toronto, perhaps by visiting the CN Tower and the SkyDome, Ontario palace, the Hockey Hall of Fame, the Ontario Science Centre or the Royal Ontario Museum. Toronto is a city packed with exciting attractions, shops and restaurants, with a fun and lively atmosphere.
Day 3
Toronto to Kingston (161 miles)
Drive east today, directly to Kingston, then tour Fort Henry – a fort created in 1812 during the war to protect the Kingston Royal Navy Dockyard. An alternative route to Kingston passes through the charming heritage towns of Prince Edward County.
Day 4
Kingston to Montreal (180 miles)
En-route to Montreal today, you’ll enter the stunning Thousand Islands region which is renowned for its collection of verdant islands nestling on serene lakes – a truly beautiful location. Step aboard a cruise ship to explore this scenery and take in the views of captivating estates and sophisticated cottages. The cruise takes you past Boldt Castle, Millionaire’s Row and Zavikon Island.

Day 5
Montreal
Montreal is a bustling city with a cosmopolitan edge and French-inspired culture – there are countless attractions to explore here to fill your day of leisure with. We recommend a visit to any of the following – the Notre-Dame Basilica, Old Montreal, the Olympic Site, the Biodome, Mt. Royal Park or the underground city.
Day 6
Montreal to Quebec City (155 miles)
On your way to Quebec City, we recommend stopping at Cap-de-la-Madeleine, which is Canada’s national shrine to the Virgin Mary. Whilst in Trois- Rivières, the Museum of Quebec Folk Arts and Traditions.
Day 7
Quebec City
Canada’s oldest city, Quebec City, is a fascinating blend of strong French heritage, breath-taking architecture and charming culture. The Fortifications, a historic national park, the Place Royal and the Basilica are all well worth visiting while you’re here. If you’re venturing slightly outside of the city, the dramatic shrine at Ste. Anne-de-Beaupré, Montmorency Falls and the Ile de’Orleans are all fantastic attractions to tick off your list.
Day 8
Quebec City to Ottawa (285 miles)
Today you’ll have the opportunity to visit some more local attractions en-route to Ottawa, including the Wolfe-Montcalm Monument or Dufferin Terrace. There are several routes to Ottawa which you can take.
Day 9
Ottawa
Today, take the whole day to explore the historic city of Ottawa, a city of pageantry and art. This multi-cultural city has much to offer by way of attractions and activities, from the Parliament Buildings and museums or tours of the Royal Canadian Mint and the Rideau Canal, now a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Day 10
Ottawa to Huntsville (217 miles)
Take a scenic drive to Algonquin Provincial Park today to explore the beautiful Muskoka region. A northern lakeland route, this journey offers up some of the best fishing spots in the country.
Day 11
Huntsville
Today will be spent in Huntsville, the largest town in the Muskoka region. Speckled with lakes and naturally beautiful, this is a popular location with visitors to this area. We suggest spending time enjoying outdoor pursuits here, such as boat cruises, horseback riding and wandering along the hiking trails. A short drive away is Lion’s Lookout Park or the Muskoka Pioneer Village – both worth visiting if you have the time.
Day 12
Huntsville to Niagara Falls (205 miles)
Drive south today and bypass Toronto en-route to Niagara Falls – known as the ‘honeymoon capital of the world’. We suggest stopping in Midland at Sainte-Marie among the Hurons, the first European settlement in Ontario and now a National Historic Site of Canada.
Day 13
Niagara Falls to Toronto/End of Tour
Drive to Toronto through the fruit-growing region of Ontario, visiting the historic town of Niagara-on-the-Lake en-route. We suggest also stopping at the Welland Canal on your way, before returning to Pearson International Airport for your departure flight.
